Warning, “True Blood” spoilers!

"When I read it, I cried; at the table read, I cried; when we were rehearsing it, I was crying; when the camera was on my back, I was crying," Bauer said in a phone interview in June. "It just was so emotional to me and so heartbreaking because he’s the only thing that matters to her. He will always be her maker, but the fact that that umbilical cord has been cut, that the baby was pushed out of the nest to learn to fly, just felt like a loss to Pam."

I talked to Kristin Bauer today and guess what we talked about … the Walmart sweatsuit!

After the premiere, I think the one question you must be getting asked is, “Was that a real Walmart sweatsuit?” [Laughs.] Amazingly, I don’t know. We put this thing on in the fitting — we had a whole bunch to try — and we did not continue after we saw that fabulous shade of yellow. And then Audrey [Fisher, “True Blood” costume designer] dyed the pants to be slightly a different yellow than the top and shortened them so they’d be too short. It’s just genius.
