“We’re gorgeous.” - Lucy Lawless. And I’m typing this from the great beyond because I have died.

TBT to last Thursday when I met Lucy Lawless and completed all my life goals.

She’s a love interest for Ron Swanson. I’m losing my mind right now. SO EXCITED.

Yes, I know the real history behind today, but for me March 15 will always be the day Xena and Gabrielle were crucified in “Xena: Warrior Princess” Season 4, “The Ides of March.”

Lucy Lawless sent this to me. It’s a real chakram. I’m so beside myself. There’s also a note and that signed animation cell. But a chakram!!!

THESE ITEMS ARE ON MY DESK RIGHT NOW. Lucy Lawless sent them to me. That’s a real chakram.

I had a somewhat epic interview with Lucy Lawless earlier this week. We talked about everything fro “Spartacus” to “Celebrity Duets.” She was dropping all sorts of wonderful “Spartacus” tidbits, praising “Xena” fans (and discussing the trouble with a “Xena” reunion movie) and said certain reality stars need to go eat some pie. A taste of the interview below.

Do you have a favorite part about playing Lucretia? Oh, oh yeah. It’s the challenge of it: Can I make her wickedness completely real and relatable that you can see where she’s coming from? If she seems like a logical person, then I can make her wickedness your problem and I relish that. I aim to make the audience complicit in my crimes by making her as fully real as possible. She’s not all bad and she’s not all good; she’s a complete mixture because I believe we all are. It makes me cringe when people call her a villainess because she’s not; she’s anyone.
