What was up with all the toffee references on last night’s “Pretty Little Liars”? Jaimie Etkin asked Janel Parrish about it:

And I noticed that there were two mentions of “toffee” in the finale: the ice cream Melissa took from Aria and the lipgloss that Mona wears. Does that have any significance? I actually don’t know. But I love that line [“I like this lipgloss, toffee lipgloss”] because it shows how unhinged Mona is that she genuinely thinks she looks hot after everything. [Laughs.] She got pushed off a cliff and her hair is crazy and she’s got bruises and dirt everywhere, but she genuinely thinks she still looks hot. There definitely could be a connection, but if there is, I don’t 100 percent know.

Pretty Little Liars: The Case For Mona Over the course of almost 50 episodes, the mysterious A has wreaked a serious amount of havoc (blackmailing therapists, faking suicide notes, attempted vehicular manslaughter, etc.) and the Liars have burned through just as many potential culprits. Except, that is, the one person who probably should be at the top of the suspect list: queen bee Mona Vanderwaal. (via Huffington Post)
