"Arrow" star Stephen Amell talks big changes, higher stakes, Speedy and Deathstroke

I will say this. I will tease one thing about Episode 9: I really think that we’ve moved forward with the series, that we’ve continued to raise the stakes and 9, right at the beginning, does a great job of illustrating just how much higher the stakes have gotten since the pilot. There is a quick scene where something that was a big deal in the pilot is just dispatched and that, to me … it’s not hitting the viewer over the head with saying, “This is how far we’ve come,” but me reading it, I went, “Oh, wow,” because this was a meaty part of the pilot and now it’s just an afterthought in Episode 9.

Willa Holland on becoming Speedy on The CW’s “Arrow.”

I’m sure they will be happy to hear Oliver call Thea Speedy in the pilot. Is that a hint of what’s to come? Yeah, it’d like to say that it is. I don’t exactly know because it hasn’t come to light yet. The first season of a show, especially when it’s the origin of a comic book character, there’s a lot of levels that need to be explained and things that need to be put into place before characters are fully formed. So we haven’t even begun to necessarily get into Speedy, but I feel like it’s around the corner.

What’s that? Deadshot you say? OK, cool. Check out some exclusive pics of classic DC Comics villain Deadshot on The CW’s “Arrow.”

It’s an origin story titled “Amazon.”

Allan Heinberg is writing (he’s written for “Grey’s,” “The OC” and penned the “Wonder Woman” comic series for a bit).

I’m on the fence. David E. Kelley’s pilot was TERRIBLE, but an origin story could work.

First Look: Adrianne Palicki As Wonder Woman in Action

It’s Wonder Woman! And her boots are red! Yes, the first pictures of Adrianne Palicki in action as Wonder Woman have surfaced.

In this photo from the ‘Wonder Woman’ pilot shoot in Hollywood, Palicki puts on her best fearless Amazon face to chase down a villain.

What’s new with the costume since it debuted? For starters, her boots are red! Plus, the pants look less atrocious and vinyl.

I’m pretty pleased with these changes, the costume actually looks pretty acceptable.
