"Glee" has a long road ahead after the Fox series said goodbye to star Cory Monteith and his "Glee" character Finn Hudson in an emotional episode titled "The Quarterback." "I just made a decision: we keep mentioning Finn," "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy told reporters.
"Glee" may not ever reveal how Finn Hudson dies. Co-creator Ryan Murphy told Deadline the show considered having Cory Monteith’s character die from a drug overdose, like the actor, but ultimately decided against it.
If “Glee” is ending after Season 6, Chris Colfer is OK with that. Fox boss Kevin Reilly recently said “Glee” will likely end following its sixth season, which is likely to air during the 2014-2015 TV season.
"Glee" is going to write the late Cory Monteith’s character Finn Hudson out of the show in the third episode of the show’s upcoming Season 5, Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly announced at the Television Critics Association 2013 Summer Press Tour. Reilly also revealed that "Glee" is unlikely to continue past the show’s next two seasons.
