I took this on the red carpet for NBC’s Upfronts. I’d also watch this pairing if they headlined a show.

  3. Who is in that spotlight? I will not tell you, but I will tell you this: a new scarf makes its appearance in the “Smash” finale. Oh you want juicer details? Here you go! 5 Things To Know About “Bombshell,” the “Smash” Season 1 finale.

  4. Chris Rosen rolled his … 44 times!

  5. Remember when Maggie Furlong asked you to skip episode 3 of “Smash”? Well, now she’s asking you to watch episode 4 because it’s good. She’s right, again.

“The Cost of Art” is so entertaining, it’ll leave you wanting more.

  7. If you’ve been following this blog, you know I love “Smash.” However, I have to agree with Maggie’s article (linked above and here). The third episode is weird. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever seen on TV, but for a show still trying to pull in an audience it’s an odd misstep. If you’re on the fence about the show, this one may push you over to giving up on it. With that said, episode 4 will bring you back in. There are good performances, lots of Anjelica Houston and drama.

  8. Team Karen? Team Ivy? Did the right woman get the part?

It’s time for some “Smash” spoilers, y’all!

“There are so many other things that we will be competing for,” Megan Hilty said. “And just like it is in reality when you do these big shows, it doesn’t matter who gets it initially because things change and people get replaced like that. [Snaps.] And that’s just the reality of the business.”

    More here.

Watching this scene over and over and over and over …

  10. I asked Megan Hilty (Ivy) and Katharine McPhee (Karen) about the already buzzy “Smash” rivalry and viewers picking sides. Here’s what Megan had to say:

Oh my goodness, it’s inevitable. I’ve already gotten t-shirts sent to me. I plan on rocking my Team Karen t-shirt full force. Every show needs a good rivalry, right?

Find out what Kat had to say here. So, are you Team Ivy or Team Karen?
