No more “Political Animals.” USA has decided not to order more episodes of the Sigourney Weaver series.

“I know that there are obvious superficial similarities with the Clintons, but I think [“Political Animals” creator] Greg Berlanti has been inspired by all of the families in the White House. The families who have been in the White House have paid a price for that experience, and oddly, they all want to get back in the White House,” Sigourney Weaver explained to HuffPost TV during a round table interview in June. “So it’s inspired by the Roosevelts, the Kennedys, the Bushs — all of these different families — that’s why he wrote this. While I can’t speak for them, I think for Fox, once you’re sixty, you’re not going to be starring in an action movie. I think it’s too bad that that’s the case. I would have liked to do one last story where we go back to the planet, where Ripley’s history is resolved. But I do feel like her story is unfinished.
I could definitely kick that alien’s ass again.
